Turning 1M+ Subscribers Into a Structured Revenue Engine


The Problem


Codie had built an empire.

What We Did


1. Asked the Audience Directly

We deployed structured customer surveys and identified three core avatars:


  • The Explorer (9–5 employee, business-curious)

  • The Operator (experienced but not scaled)

  • The Owner (existing business operator looking to expand)


Instead of marketing to “everyone interested in business buying,” we built messaging for three distinct buyer stages.


2. Rebuilt HubSpot Infrastructure


We cleaned up tagging, tracking, and lead attribution.


Then we introduced a persona quiz immediately after opt-in.


Subscribers self-identified.


That triggered:


  • Avatar-specific email flows

  • Customized webinar messaging

  • Persona-aligned problem framing


It felt personal. It was systematic.


3. Aligned the Webinar Funnel


Codie’s monthly webinar already worked.


We just made it smarter.


Each avatar received:


  • Tailored messaging

  • Different proof points

  • Adjusted problem emphasis


The copy team wasn’t writing 1,000 variations.


We engineered three intelligent pathways.


4. Rationalized the Product Suite


We evaluated which lead magnets:


  • Brought in buyers

  • Brought in lurkers

  • Attracted misaligned traffic


We phased out underperformers and aligned offers to buyer stage.


Data revealed something important:
